Our Vision We relentlessly aspire to be a Spirit-filled, family and community church, where people of all ages are given the opportunity to do life and mission together. That mission is simly to MAKE DISCIPLES
In Mark 12:28, Jesus is asked by a scribe 'what is the greatest of all the commandments?' Jesus replies, "To Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself." As followers of Christ, we are committed to knowing God more and more every day. As we journey through life, we realise that God's desire is for each of us to draw near to Him in a deep and close personal relationship, and we believe it is only in Jesus Christ that men and women can find true purpose and meaning in life. Here at AoG Cairnbulg, our desire is to see ordinary people live out extraordinary lives, by the grace and power of God. As a local church, we seek to honour, worship and glorify God, through music, testimony, reading and sharing God's word. And as individuals, we hope that the amazing love of God is reflected in and through us.
Love People
Each Of Us Has A Place
Our Church We are a church where the people passionately love God. We are a church where people don't just receive grace, but practise it. We are a church where those who feel condemned get accepted; a church where the fallen are restored; where the hurting are healed and the lost are saved. We are a church where everyone counts; where everyone is appreciated; where everyone is valued, not because of who they are down here, but because of who they are up there. We are a church where people are welcomed regardless of what they have done, and where prodigals are received with open arms. We are a church where people who are single, divorced, widowed or orphaned feel secure and as much a part of the family as anybody else. We are a church where everybody considers the other as better than themselves. We are a church where the first priority of the people is not what they can get, but what they can give; and where love is not merely with words, but with deeds.

Love God
In John 13:34, Jesus states: "By this, shall all men know that you are my disciples... If you have love for one another." As followers of Jesus Christ, we believe it is our privilege and responsibility to communicate God’s love to the community and world in which we live, by living a Godly life, by sharing with others about what God has done in our lives and by demonstrating His love in every relationship and at every opportunity. Here at AoG Cairnbulg, we seek to live out the words of Paul in Philippians 2:2-3 which exhort us to "be of the same mind, maintaining the same love, united in spirit, intent on one purpose. Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind, let each of you regard one another as more important than himself."
We believe that everyone is loved and valued by God and that we are created in God’s image, each with a unique and special purpose in life. As a church, we believe that it is our privilege and responsibility to help each individual discover and release their inner, God-given potential. Just like the early believers in the book of Acts, we seek to grow together in faith, in unity and in love and become obedient followers of Jesus Christ and disciple-makers (Matthew 28:18-20).
